The Paris Club has requested China and India to support Sri Lanka’s debt restructuring.
Accordingly, it is reported that the Paris Club has asked China and India to work closely with Sri Lanka on this issue.
At the annual conference of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington, representatives of the Paris Club asked about this before the Indian representatives, and as a group of Chinese representatives did not come to the conference, the representatives of the Paris Club were not able to meet them, according to foreign media.
However, so far, no answer has been received from either side, Reuters reports.
