Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera says that fertilizer will be given to maize farmers at 15,000 rupees each.
The minister said that the request of the farmers is to provide fertilizer and fuel on time and to provide a good price for the harvest and the government has the responsibility to deal with that.
Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera further stated that they will try their best to provide the fuel needed for preparing the land for the farmers.
