Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera has published a report regarding CPC petroleum production cost after the price revision.

According to the relevant report, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation earns a profit of 22.71 rupees per litre of octane 92 petrol and 126.49 rupees per litre of octane 95 petrol.

Also, it states that a litre of auto diesel makes a profit of 0.89 rupees and a litre of super diesel makes a profit of 36.50 rupees.

The relevant report further states that Ceylon Petroleum Corporation makes a profit of 2.10 rupees from the sale of kerosene.
