The Road Development Authority has informed the owners of the Steert Food outlets in Kimbulaawala to remove them within 14 days. It is said that those outlets are obstructing the vehicles travelling on the road and two-storey outlets have also been built without permission.
The Road Development Authority has informed that this decision has been taken as complaints are received daily that road accidents are taking place due to this.
Earlier also, the Urban Development Authority decided to remove these outlets, but later the outlets were allowed to run based on the agreement reached between the shop owners.
