Lanka Sathosa has appointed Mr. Pasada Yapa Abeywardena, former member of the Southern Province Provincial Council, as the new chairman.
Pasada Yapa Abeywardena is also the son of former Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena.
Mr. Vijitha Wijemanna, who served as Sathosa Chairman until now, resigned yesterday.
