An earthquake has occurred near the Buttala area. The Geological Survey and Mines Bureau said that the earthquake occurred yesterday (25) at 11:20 p.m. with a magnitude of 2.4. All four seismometers operating in this country have recorded the earthquake that occurred in an area about one kilometre deep inside the earth.
