The Sri Lankan team won the toss and decided to bat first and they managed to score 308 runs by losing 6 wickets in their 50 overs. Captain Kusal Mendis scored 61 runs for the Sri Lankan team, Sadheera Samarawickrama scored 52 runs, Janith Liyanage scored 50 runs, and Charith Saad, who batted brilliantly without losing, scored 97 runs. In bowling, Azmatullah Omarzai took 3 wickets, and Fazalhaq Farooqi, Noor Ahmad, and Qais Ahmad took one wicket.
