Arrangements have been made to release 234 acres of land under the Jaffna Defense Force Headquarters to the farmers.
The presidential media wing stated that the lands belonging to 5 village officer divisions in Jaffna have been released accordingly.
Under the “Urumaya” national program of providing 2 million free land deeds to the people, the symbolic award ceremony for 408 more people was held in the Ottagapulam area of Jaffna yesterday (22) under the chairmanship of President Ranil Wickramasinghe.
