Bharti Airtel Lanka has decided to merge its operations in Sri Lanka with Dialog Axiata PLC. Supun Weerasinghe, Director/Group Chief Executive of Dialog Axiata PLC, has issued an announcement informing the Colombo market in this regard.
Accordingly, according to the relevant laws and regulations, the two parties are negotiating with the relevant regulatory authorities, which is further stated in the relevant announcement. Below is the announcement issued by Dialog.
