Trade Minister Nalin Fernando has issued a gazette notification placing wheat flour under specific commodity categories. This gazette notification has been issued with effect from the 16th of this month.
According to this, the law will be implemented against traders who keep wheat flour without selling it. They can be punished with imprisonment.
