Three suspects have been taken into custody by the Navy along with a stock of 2,030 liters of petrol that was being prepared for illegal transportation.
In a special operation carried out by the Sri Lanka Navy in Kalpitiya Sengumalawatta area, the stock of petrol has been found.
The suspects taken into custody by the Navy have been identified as residents of Kalpitiya, Wariyapola and Ratnapura, aged between 28 and 48 years.
