The Chinese research ship Yuan Wang-5, which arrived in the island, is scheduled to leave for China again today (22).
The ship, which was scheduled to leave for China at 4.00 pm, arrived at the Hambantota port on the 16th and was allowed to anchor at the port until today.
With the notification that the ship was coming to Hambantota port, there was a strong protest from India, and then again permission was given to the ship in question to come to Hambantota port.
