Veteran musician Ananda Gamage, who composed many popular songs, has passed away.
Many popular songs such as Thaara Paara Diga Paata Paata Kada, Katu Akule Mal Ahare, Pahana Thiyaa Budhu Saduta etc. were composed by him and he contributed music direction to many tele dramas including “Amba Yahaluo“.
Ananda Gamage, who did great work as a teacher, teacher consultant and assistant director of education in charge of music, was 73 years old when he died.
