Samantha Power, head of the US Agency for International Development, says that once the staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund is signed as a full agreement, Sri Lankans may have to make extremely difficult sacrifices.
She has also mentioned that in every step, countries like the United States will stand up for the Sri Lankan people without allowing them to be isolated in the implementation of those strict reorganizations.
Meanwhile, Samantha Power, head of the US Agency for International Development, added that it is regrettable that China has not yet supported the country’s debt restructuring process.
