US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who is on an official visit to the Middle East countries, arrived in the Palestinian-controlled West Bank city of Ramallah and met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

In Ramallah, during a meeting with the Palestinian president, the Israeli government’s illegal construction of settlements on Palestinian lands came up for discussion.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken explained that although the US is always ready to give unconditionally to Israel, the construction of settlements in the Palestinian territories cannot be approved at all.
Blinken also pointed out that the Israeli-Palestinian crisis can only be resolved through a two-state solution. (Reuters)
