Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara made an explanation regarding the fuel reserves currently held by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
Below are the relevant fuel reserve amounts,
- Auto Diesel – 12,774 MT
- Super Diesel – 233 MT
- Gasoline 92 – 1,414 metric tons
- Gasoline 95 – 2,677 metric tons
- Fuel oil – 2,900 metric tons
- Aviation fuel – 500 metric tons
