It is said that a consignment of ice drugs which was brought from India and transported to the Colombo area was arrested in the Sinhakudirippuwa area of Kalpitiya.
Two people who transported this ice stock with a value of nearly three crore rupees in a three-wheeler have also been taken into police custody.
According to the intelligence information of Kalpitiya Police Special Bureau officers, a group of Kalpitiya Police officers conducted the raid.
It is said that the main suspect involved in the famous drug trafficking in the Mattakkuliya area of Colombo and a resident of the Kalpitiya Thoradiya area have been arrested. (Lankadeepa)
