Chairman of Ceylon Private Bus Owners’ Association Gemunu Wijeratne says that several special buses have been prepared for the return of the people who went to the villages for the New Year. According to that, about 25% of private buses ran yesterday and about 50% tomorrow.
The Railway Department also mentioned that some special train itineraries for long-distance services were implemented from yesterday (15). (Divaina)
