The Department of Meteorology announces that there may be several periods of rain in Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-Western provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, and Matara districts.
On the western slopes of the central hills, the wind blows from time to time per km. They further report that strong winds of around 50 are possible.
