Today (29) the Department of Meteorology announces that rain may occur in the Northern Province and Trincomalee district from time to time.
The announcement states that there may be some rain in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts, and in a few places in Eastern, North Central and Uva provinces, rain or thundershowers may occur in the evening or at night.
The department has further said that in the morning there may be frosty conditions in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
