The Department of Meteorology says that rain or thundershowers may occur in places throughout the island today (29) in the evening or at night. The department stated that there may be rain in the morning in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts.
The Department of Meteorology urges individuals to take the required precautions to reduce the risks brought on by storm-related lightning and transient high winds.
