The Department of Meteorology says that rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, South and North-Western provinces and Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Mannar districts in the evening or at night.
The Department of Meteorology stated that the people are requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
