The Department of Meteorology says that rain or thundershowers will occur in Uva, Sabaragamuwa, and Central and Southern provinces during the evening or night today (28).
The department stated that rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places in the Western, North-Western, North-Central and Eastern provinces.
Sabaragamuwa, central provinces and Galle and Matara districts may experience foggy conditions in the morning.
The Department of Meteorology urges individuals to take the required precautions to reduce the risks brought on by storm-related lightning and transient high winds.
