The Department of Meteorology says that there may be some rain in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (26).
The department mentioned that rain or thundershowers may occur in other areas in the evening or at night.
Some places in North-Central, Central, Uva and Eastern Provinces may experience heavy rains of more than 75 mm.
The Department of Meteorology requests that people take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary solid winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
