Today (18) in Sabaragamuwa, West, Central, North West and Uva Provinces and Galle and Matara Districts, there may be rain or thundershowers in a few places during the evening or at night, says the Department of Meteorology.
The department stated that there is mainly rainless weather in the rest of the areas.
The Department of Meteorology urges the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
