The Department of Meteorology announces that there may be rain or thundershowers in the evening or night in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, Uva and Eastern provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
The announcement states that there may be rain in the morning in the Western and North-Western provinces, Galle and Matara districts.
The announcement further stated that some places in Uva province and Ampara district may experience heavy rain of about 75 mm.
