The Department of Meteorology says that rain or thundershowers may occur in a few places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, South and North-West provinces today (11) in the evening or at night.
The Department of Meteorology urges individuals to take the required precautions to reduce the risks brought on by storm-related lightning and transient high winds.
The Department of Meteorology further stated that at 12:11 today, the sun will rise over the areas of Kalpitiya, Dunupotagama, Nikaeva, Somavathi Pudbima and Verugal.
