The Meteorological Department says that the sky is heavy with clouds in the southern half of the island.
The department stated that occasional rain or thundershowers may occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces.
There is a possibility of several rainy seasons in Central, Uva and Eastern provinces.
