The Department of Meteorology says that in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, Uva and North-Western provinces today (10) there may be scattered showers or thunderstorms during the evening or night.
The Department of Meteorology urges individuals to take the required precautions to reduce the risks brought on by storm-related lightning and transient high winds.
The Department of Meteorology further stated that the sun will rise over the areas of Anamaduwa, Dambulla, Bellanewala and Kalkuda today at 12:11 pm.
