Today (07) the Department of Meteorology says that rain or thundershowers may occur at places in the evening or night in Western, Sabaragamuwa, South, Uva, Central, North-West and North-Central provinces and in Mannar district.
The Department of Meteorology urges individuals to take the required precautions to reduce the risks brought on by storm-related lightning and transient high winds.
The Department of Meteorology further stated that today (07) at 12:13 noon, the sun will rise over the areas of Koralawella, Ingiriya, Kiriella, Amudeniya, Haldummulla, Ratmalwehera and Varadenia.
