Jordan’s Directorate of Public Security has decided to impose a temporary ban on the TikTok social media in Jordan after a police officer died in a clash during a protest based on the increase in fuel prices.
It is reported that the ban has been imposed on the grounds that the videos of the conflict are circulating on TikTok social media, which incites violence and riotous behaviour.
It has not been announced how long the ban will be in effect.
