Three persons including a three-year-old boy have reportedly died after being hit by a train near the Katukurunda railway station this evening (12).
They had died after a collision with a train plying from Matara to Colombo, Ada Derana reporter said.
Two males including the boy’s 22-year-old father were killed on the spot while three-year-old had succumbed to critical injuries after being admitted to the Kalutara Teaching Hospital.
The deceased are reportedly residents of the Rajawatta area in Kalutara South.
