Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said in a press conference that the Gaza Strip is being attacked from side to side to root out the Hamas militants and that there will not be a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
The Prime Minister of Israel further explained in the press conference that the main objective of the Israeli army is to rescue the 230 Israelis who are in their grip by crippling the Hamas militants, and for that, they seek the support of the international community.
Netanyahu has also made it clear that Israelis held hostage by Hamas militants must be released immediately, without any conditions. Hamas also claims that 33 of the Israeli hostages are children.
“Many countries are telling us to go to a ceasefire. But a cease-fire would mean Israel surrendering to Hamas militants. It is impossible. we will not stop fighting until the Hamas militants are eradicated and the war is won” said the Prime Minister of Israel. (Al Jazeera)
