Education Minister Susil Premajayantha says that the retirement of a large number of teachers has become a challenge for the education sector in this country.
The minister mentioned that although about 4,000 teachers retired a year earlier, this year between 10,000 and 12,000 teachers have retired.
The Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha stated that it is mandatory to fill the vacancies in the next 03 months while attending the ceremony held for the commencement of the work of the Ministry of Education for the new year 2023.
