In a meeting held yesterday (19) with the Sri Lankan diaspora in Britain, President Ranil Wickremesinghe emphasized that in order to become a prosperous nation, we must fight against bankruptcy together.
Also, the President has invited them to join the new investment opportunities that have been created in Sri Lanka, including the Diaspora Office Project, the Presidential Media Division states.
Many Sri Lankan businessmen, investors, and professionals living in Britain attended this meeting organized by the British High Commission of Sri Lanka.
The President has also explained about winning future challenges as a Commonwealth country under the leadership of the new British King and moving forward.
