President Ranil Wickremesinghe has left for Japan early today (26) for a three-day official visit.

There, the President is scheduled to attend the funeral ceremony of the former Prime Minister of Japan, Shinsho Abe.

The President’s Media Division stated that during his stay in Japan, President Ranil Wickremesinghe will hold talks with the new Prime Minister of Japan and many high-ranking leaders.

Later, President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to leave for the Philippines on September 28 to preside over the meeting of the Asian Development Bank Governors.
