It has been decided to lower bus fares by 5% from 1st July. Accordingly, the minimum bus fare will be reduced by 2 rupees and the new fare will be Rs 28.
This decision has been taken in a discussion held with bus associations and Minister Bandula Gunawardena regarding the revision of annual bus fares.
