Minister of State for Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya says that the government is ready to ease the import of goods that have been temporarily suspended due to the ongoing economic crisis.
The Minister of State stated this while speaking to the media after joining an observation tour at the headquarters of the Import and Export Control Department this afternoon (29).
Accordingly, he further stated that he hopes to further relax the import restrictions in the future, taking into account the requests from various parties.
