Dr Buddhi Keerthisena, who was an expert film producer, journalist, founding father of ‘Buddhi Batik’ Institute and former chairman of the National Craft Council, passed away today (17) in the morning. He was 80 years old when he died.
The body will be laid to rest at his residence at No. 158/3, Lake Drive, Colombo 8 from tomorrow (18) morning to tomorrow (19) morning and the next day (19) his body will be laid to rest at his residence in Koswadiya for public respect.
The last rites will be done on the 21st at 4:00 p.m. at the Koswadia Cemetery.
