The program which was organized to inform all the members of Parliament on “Current Economic Situation and Way Forward in Sri Lanka” has been postponed.
This program was organized under the chairmanship of Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, to inform the members of Parliament about the current economic situation in Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the Deputy Speaker informed the Parliament today (29) that the program that was to be held tomorrow (30) will be held on the 31st due to an unavoidable reason.
This workshop has been organized for effective discussion on the current economic situation and future economic direction of the country so that it will be useful for the members of parliament to actively participate in the upcoming parliamentary debates on financial matters.
