Earthquakes happened a week ago. Rescue operations continue. Rescue teams managed to free a girl who was trapped in the rubble for more than 100 hours. However, it was also confirmed that she died after being hospitalized.

It is also reported that the police had to protect houses and shops from thieves in the earthquake-damaged city of Antakya. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has implemented a state of emergency in the provinces affected by the earthquake.
