Finance Minister President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that the total revenue expected by the government in the 2023 budget is 3,415 billion rupees and the total expenditure is 5,819 billion rupees.
Accordingly, the budget deficit is shown as 2,404 billion rupees, which is 7.9% of the gross domestic product.
