The Committee on Government Finance has drawn attention to the fact that it is unfair to the consumer to give approval to the gazette notice related to the temporary suspension of the import of bathroom accessories.
Accordingly, the Committee on Government Finance chaired by Member of Parliament Dr Harsha De Silva discussed this matter when it met yesterday (01).
It is stated that by this gazette, the import of many bathroom accessories has been temporarily suspended and accordingly the committee has recommended to the Ministry of Finance to study and submit a report in this regard.
