Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera says that the 3rd generator of the Norochcholai power plant, which was disabled due to a technical fault recently, has been restored and has now been added to the national system.
The minister says that the repair work of the 2nd generator is currently underway and it is expected to be completed in the middle of this month and added back to the national system.
The minister added that the 1st and 3rd generators are currently operating at full capacity.
