The Motor Transport Department has decided to extend the validity period of the temporary driving licenses issued from a period of 06 months up to one year.
The department states that the time can be extended by going to the Werahera office or the district office of the district where he resides.
The Department of Motor Transport further stated that the ordered 450,000 driver’s license printing cards will be delivered to Sri Lanka in the next few weeks.
