Sri Lanka State Commercial Various Statutory Corporation says that the distribution of eggs imported from India to Sri Lanka will start today (29).
The imported eggs are to be distributed only among the bakery manufacturers and the eggs are to be sold at a price of 35 rupees for the bakery manufacturers.
2 million eggs have been imported as the first stock of eggs imported from India to this country.
