Today (13) the Sri Lankan women’s team qualified for the finals of this year’s Asia Cup Twenty20 women’s cricket tournament.

The Sri Lanka women’s team recorded this victory by defeating the Pakistan team by one point in the second semi-final match held in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka, who won the toss and batted first, scored 122 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

In batting, Harshita Samarawickrama scored 35 runs and Anushka Sanjeevani scored 26 runs.

The Pakistan women’s team, who played the reply innings, could score only 121 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.
