It is reported that the Government of Sri Lanka has signed the agreement for obtaining a loan of 203 million US dollars from the general capital resources of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
In addition to this loan, the Japan Fund for the Asia-Pacific region is also going to provide a principal of US$ 03 million for project activities.
These funds are aimed at protecting food, poverty, and the livelihoods of the vulnerable.
