The Sri Lankan team managed to win the second and final Test match of the two-match Test cricket series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh by 192 runs.

Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 531 runs for their first innings. Kusal Mendis scored 93 runs as the highest scorer. After that, the Bangladesh team who came to bat for their first innings were able to score only 178 runs. In that innings, Asitha Fernando, who was the highest wicket-taker for the Sri Lankan team, managed to knock down 4 Bangladesh wickets.

Batting for their second innings with a lead of 353 runs, the Sri Lankan team ended their innings at 157 for the loss of 7 wickets, leading by 510 runs.

In pursuit of a target of 511 runs, the Bangladesh team was able to score only 318 runs, and in bowling, Kamindu Mendis took 03 wickets, Lahiru Kumara 04 wickets, Prabhath Jayasuriya and Vishwa Fernando took 2 wickets and Asitha Fernando Managed to grab one wicket.

Accordingly, the Sri Lankan team managed to win the two-match Test series 2-0. Kamindu Mendis won both Man of the Match and Man of the Series awards.
