Sports Minister Harin Fernando has decided to cancel the interim cricket committee appointed by former Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe.
Accordingly, the minister states in X message that he has signed the gazette cancelling the decision to appoint an interim committee. It further reads that he has informed the International Cricket Council to investigate the report of the Auditor General.
The minister further stated that he took this decision intending to remove the cricket ban imposed on Sri Lanka by the International Cricket Council.
